Listen to Durkins call.Clear ,precise and painting a true picture. This was when he was at the top of the game. Just the basics and no Drama or Theatrics. Maybe on 8/31/14 he can return to this form ,just 1 more time.

Many wonder why this great game of Horse Racing just can't grow into more , rather than backtrack into obscurity. I just received my 3rd E-Mail from NYRA advertising Sundays Card at Belmont. The lead Caption is "Come on out for Fathers Day " . Then they list all of the days events(GET THIS>>>>>>IN THE BACKYARD - OF ALL PLACES ). hot shaves , hand rolled cigars , Bourbon tasting and if that were not enough,they have Golf cage simulator. Great fun for allDads i am sure. The only thing missing here is that they should be inviting the Dads out to the Racetrack,remind them to bring their wallets(just kidding about that) but enjoy a day of Horse Racing. Sometimes i think the Racing commissions think that just like Sporting Events,Gambling is illegal. Yet they keep scratching their heads and banging them against the wall,trying to figure out as to how to increase parimutual wagering. That is a tough one guys!!!!!!!

In the Knob Creek Paddock Terrace Bar - open rain or shine - there will be a giveaway of 500 cigars, free shaves, chair massages and a small-batch bourbon tasting. Also in the backyard will be a golf cage simulator, petting zoo, pony rides, an inflatable sports obstacle course, a nine-hole miniature golf course, pop-a-shot basketball, a face painter and karaoke."

I am very curious as to the opinions of many on the following topic. To begin with , Thanks to California Chrome. Horse Racing has just experienced 3 weeks of Popular Media attention leading up to The Belmont Stakes. NYRA has stepped up with a super race card tht supposedly drew tremendous raves and accolades. Here goes with the question. On Saturday July 5th, NYRA is holding Sper Saturday part II. They have 2 G1 races .1 G2 race and 2 G3 races. To you purets who love the Distance Variety. This card is loaded. It falls on the Holiday weekend. Historically tourists flock to NYC on this weekend to visit the Statue of Libert ,as well as see the world famous Fireworks extravaganza. So people in the area will not and should not be a problem. My question is regarding the attendance figure on this day. What do you think it will be??

Cont.... I think that was a mistake on victor's part, was he went around the far turn and went four wide, I knew he was done, he just had too much to do in the stretch, now for the post race, I think Steve Coburn should be ashamed of himself, Now I know that he apologized this mourning, but his comments are out there forever now, Tonalist earned that victory and it just wasn't California Chrome's day, that's all he had to say and it would have been fine, but no he had to go on and be all about himself, absolute disgrace, it's good that he apologized, but he should have never done it in the first place, now, the horse, if I were perry Martin, I would wait for the G1 Awesome Again this fall for his next start, good amount of time and it's at Santa Anita where he dominates, so hopefully they go that route, well feel free to comment, oh and this Sunday I'm going to Monmouth Park , I'll be giving out picks this Saturday and hopefully win big, thanks for all of your time, see ya soon when I get back

Hey guys, I'm currently on vacation and this is the only day I will be online until Friday, I saw the entire card on Saturday and it was a fantastic day of racing, we witnessed and future star in sprinting, Bayern, a showdown between th three best fillies in the country, a possible HOY contender, (Palace Malice), and an almost triple crown bid, all in all, it was a great day of racing, now, I was disappointed in California chrome not winning the Belmont, when watching the race, I thought he should have went to the lead and set the pace

kay.robinett · His sire got a viral respiratory infection when young and was never the same afterward. His dam was found to have had a trapped epiglottis after she was retired. Both of his parents were probably compromised on the track because of these problems. Who knows whether or not they could run long, given they had breathing problems because of their two respective problems? · 3155 days ago
