Having taken over the training license of her husband, the late Sir Henry Cecil, Lady Jane Cecil sent out two winners on Thursday on her first day as a licensed trainer. It's fitting that her first winner was Juddmonte Farms Morpheus, a half-brother to Frankel sired by Oasis Dream out of the mare Kind who won a maiden stakes race at Nottingham. 10 minutes later the Ian Mongan ridden Songbird, owned by Sir Robert Ogden, won a Fillies' Handicap at Ascot. Good for Lady Jane Cecil!! You know Sir Henry's looking down on her smiling as proud as punch!!
