Harvard’s pretty good; it should be a good game.” The brothers hope their travel connections will also allow them to see Private Zone run Saturday in the Vosburgh at Belmont Park. Martin Pedroza has the mount on the crack sprinter trained by Doug for the Good Friends Stable of former jockey and close Pedroza pal Rene Douglas.

Doug O’Neill reports that FrontRunner Stakes runner-up Know More “is doing great” as he prepares for the $2 million Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at 1 1/16 miles. “Goldenscents (second in Champagne Stakes) wasn’t nominated as a colt, so he’s not going to run,” O’Neill added. “He came out his race great so far, so we’ll just take our time. We’ve got high hopes for him down the road.” O’Neill confirmed that Gomez retains the mount on Know More and also on Awesome Again Stakes third-place finisher Richard’s Kid in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

This purchase may have been a bit unexpected and abrupt (par Bafferts words), but the horse's health is not in severe danger. You could easily say that IHA's sale was sickening (when in reality it wasn't) or Havre de Grave going to auction has no "consideration". · 3813 days ago

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino was a backstretch visitor to the barn of trainer Doug O’Neill on Wednesday morning. Pitino, a visitor to Del Mar several times in past summers, said he was “checking on some of my horses” with his racing advisors.

Doug IS NOT a criminal at all. Know him personally. AND you have your facts wrong. The violations were only 4 and minor. NOTHING to do with performance inhancing drugs. NOT milkshaked if you heard right. Doug plays by the rules. A very honest and great trainer. He so so deserves this great win. I am rooting for him all the way. And check it out every trainer save one in the derby alone all have similar violations and MORE. Go Doug!
