I see the same result as Baffert's Bodemeister....Justify opens up at the top of the stretch and gets beat in the last 16th by MENDELSSOHN !!! I'll take BEHOLDER'S 1/2 brother over any horse who did not run as a 2 year old. $$$$$

Arrogate being the all time $$$ earner is the biggest shot in the heart to all the horses from the past that ran for years winning major races against each other. How many Affirmed vs Alydar races do you see now in racing? $$$ won nowadays means nothing as to how great a horse is. I judge a horse on WHO he beat in the race.

Top 50 horses and they voted American Pharaoh above REAL champions like Zenyatta , Beholder, Ruffian, that's the females better than AP. Then there's John Henry 39 wins! Cigar, Lava Man, Native Diver, Alydar. Yes, I am not a fan of AP because he only beat the same group of horses and NOT a career of big wins vs some TOP level horses. John Henry in todays world of million dollar races would have destroyed the money won title. He ran on DIRT and TURF!!!

Shared Belief was looking down saying "just like when I ran CC down in the San Antonio".

Post position was the key to this race. Beholder was able to settle then go and you can not forget her "move" at Del Mar in the Pacific Classic 2015. Three time Breeders Cup champion is one of the best of all time in her division. What a way to go out ! Songbird will now carry the torch.

The post position draw will be a huge factor in this race. The horse from the "big 3" that gets the outside draw will have the best chance to win this the Best race of the Breeders Cup races this year. Beholder with the outside draw and best price of the 3 would be my selection.
