Well the form from the last race held up nicely I’d say... Caddo River just won by double digits in the Smarty Jones
I wouldn’t be mad about it. She danced every dance
A couple of those divisions don’t deserve a “loser.” Serengeti Empress had a great year all things considered. One or two tough losses in G1s. Nice 4YO season. Midnight Bisou - started off the year with a Big Bang, coming within a length of winning the world’s richest race then won a G1 and was caught on the wire in her next one and for some reason was written off by so many for that. Unfair. Wish she hadn’t gotten injured so we could have seen her in the distaff. Swiss Skydiver- hopefully she will win 3YO filly. Preakness winner, Alabama winner, defeated Gamine in their only (?) matchup. If she hadn’t stumbled so badly and cut herself up, the distaff could have been really interesting. Rushing Fall- I always find myself gravitating to the Euros but was rooting for her to win and go out on top in the FM Turf. She ran well in defeat and I expect her to win this division. Authentic- what a year he had. Well deserving HOY
🤣🤣🤣stop with that nonsense.
If she wins a $20 million dollar race all of that is really irrelevant
Racing anywhere is inherently risky. I don’t find there is any greater risk running in Saudi Arabia than in a similarly competitive G1 in America. And if she wins a $20 million dollar race I highly doubt they are going to be care if she doesn’t win the Classic.
Now that’s an ambitious plan! Love to see it. She’s already proven she can handle the best 3 YO male from last year...a nice announcement.
They really did wrong by him putting him in the Malibu. Glad he didn’t hurt himself trying to sprint when he clearly isn’t a sprinter.
Hopefully they let her line up against males at some point if she’s as good as they say she is (not a MG hater, it’s just hard for me to buy-in to this “one of the greatest fillies of all time/would easily beat XYZ” without her having faced open company)
I was alluding to the past stories of Japan slaughtering horses once they were “done” with them.
