That line again? The only time the great TC champ got punched in the mouth, he lost.
Can not believe that after watching this horse all year, the jockey and/or trainer have learned nothing about this horse. He needs to be 4-5 off the pace and he will not be turned away in the stretch. Unbelievable that he was so far back.
What horse?
Imagine the dollar signs if none of the top 3 hit the board in the Derby. Can't wait.
Nice to see IL racing get some love. A shout out to some of my favorite stalwarts of the claiming ranks: Our Silver Pegasus, Smart Alex's Posse, and Pimm's O'Clock.
I like this crop better than I did the 2014 cohort at this time last year. Upstart and Keen Ice have the strongest pedigrees of those listed for 10f. Close behind are Eagle, Imperia, and Firing Line.
Palace Malice was the best of a very strong group of older horses who retired before the Breeders Cup. This year's best 3yos did not match up to at least the top 5 older horses at the time. If he's the same horse, he'll go undefeated and have a total margin of victory of 20+ lengths.
2010 Derby runner in for 10k in KEE R1 today. How many others like him are still running to this day? What a shame.
Zivo, Cigar Street, and Toast of New York exacta boxes sound very tempting.
Keeneland needs a 9f Classic prep.
