Yes we did and saw the race. Seems to like Oaklawn
It did appear that in a few of his works where he was asked to run he wasn't really able to match with company. Gate work wasn't great. Appears to have a very galloping stride to him. Big big horse so easy to see why he doesn't look that athletic compared to some others. Usually the good ones in the barn perform in the morning but as you mentioned perhaps when he races he will be different and improve
Definitely simplification ran impressively all the way. Tons of pace
Yeah that work wasn't bad it was also a simple half in 50 so easy to keep up with the company. MV did win on debut. He certainly looks as if he will need distance and will lack speed
Happy New Year. Didn't have any horses that ran yesterday on my list. Don't think we saw any major contenders win yesterday
Haven't seen the Beyer either but imagine it came back solid given the time for that track going 1 mile. She certainly earned another crack at stakes company.
Man she powered away in the stretch with authority. That was something
I think it will be the shortest field they have had especially if the two monsters run
For sure its click bait. Flightline may be one of the best horses to run in 2021 so I get the conversation starter here. Just seems like if we even start entertaining the thought that we are degrading the award system in place.
If that's what it takes to win an eclipse in today's racing then they should just cancel the awards
