Found my closer for the derby....ice has been running against slower paced races and to me the addition of distance desormeaux and pace this horse is as live as any "closer" in the field not named far right....had chrome and curve last year for a nice exacta..Good luck gents and ladies

The field was easy for dortmund...running times win the derby dortmund and firing line have ran the best times...of any prep races...lol it up

Look at I'll have another scratched before Belmont things happen..triple crown on the line horse has problem injuries r a part of the game you can't avoid it

Looks like another California horse will win the derby....dortmund this year's chrome????...it appears so....I like firing line with stevens...esp after last year's brutal trip on candy boy eliminated him in the first 1/4 mile....if firing line gets good start you should see a stretch run for the ages

Kingdom wasn't really a find...he was sharp going into the derby just like orb and chrome...a find is Giacomo like I had in '05 ....good luck this year

I agree with you...firing line hope he gets overlooked at the window..like to see him 15-20 to 1...Stevens had a brutal trip last year in Kentucky with a clean trip this year he us dangerous

it is a scary thought on how good dortmund is.....and he is only going to get bigger.....looks like another california based derby winner

Baffert sending pharaoh to op will likely hurt far right.....I really like this horse he has a good style for when the speed breaks down in ky.......in far rights two races at op there was no dominating speed....Baffert at oaklawn is almost unbeatable the past few yrs

I agree with you totally on el Kabeir I don't think the horse has got the distance
