lol. So true
Damascus's 22 length win was basically a timed workout since Dr Fager and In Reality and Barb's Delight ducked the Travers. Three outclassed horses ran against him. Still ran in 2:01 3/5 which tied the track record set by Buckpasser and Jaipur
Just want to say thanks for the kind words. I appreciate them
Once again you are insulting and rude, shadowno, but I expected it long before this. Your still cannot list the infractions he has made throughout his career, just call him a nightclub wolf and drug dabbler. I guess most of racing all over the world should be called on the carpet. As far as my sexuality is concerned, closets have never been somewhere I spend time. But small people like you inhabiting these sights made my decision easier to ask that my account be deleted. I do not need to be insulted by someone of limited intelligence and class. You are just another piece of pond sum inhabiting the Internet.
I am already aware of this. Obviously it could come out worse for AZ. That was already a given, as was him dragging other people into this. It will play out how it will play out. You are determined to slant this the way you want it to be slanted. You know more. I get it. Just let it play out. All this has already been known and speculated. But, I get it that you know more. It still does not tell me what Moore and BC had to do with what I thought was a discussion but now seems like you just telling me what I already know and lecturing me about legalities and legal process, which I think I have a good idea of how this works. From now o n, I will not respond and whatever the outcome you can say you are right. It is always a mistake to come here.
I didn't even bring Moody up, so why you feel you need to is interesting. I know all about those allegations and his denials. There have been rumors and innuendos for quite a while about it, but I have no reason to believe or deny. Your view is obvious and we will wait and see. You obviously know more than I do.
amino998- the crux of the problem is if you believe the track could have slowed down 2 full seconds. DOJ's oaks was just shy of 2 seconds faster. Cigar Street's time for his race was slightly faster than Orbs when you extrapolate an extra 16th. Both Authenticity and Take Charge Indy came back to run their numbers on Derby Day. So, they either had to decide that everyone ran about two points slower than they usually did, or that DOJ's race was that fast. Since I'm not n expert on Thoro-graph, that is just a simplistic version. Since Jerry isn;t backing down from that number, I don't know what else to say. It would be different if everyone on that card ran fast times, but the route races were much slower than hers on that day. That is all I can say.
lumping Frankie in with Kieran. That is your right, to believe whatever you want. And, remember, Al Zarooni has a career training endurance horses, and he can still resume that profession during his hiatus from thoroughbred racing. Glad he has enough money to hire such a high profile QC. At least Godolphim paid him well
Sadly, people's lives have been ruined by gossip and innuendo. Coolmore, Godolphin and the major racing families of Europe and the US all have skeletons. Nobody is a saint in racing. It is a dirty business. if you think that Al Zarooni is a fall guy, then do so. He may be. But until that is proven, it is innuendo and gossip. If you want to lump Butler in the same category, then do so. Just like shadownoo
Against my better judgement, I am back just to point out some glaring differences between the two cases. Butler documented the injections of a steroid that was approved for use in Britain through a vet. He ordered the steroid through a vet and a vet administered it into the joint, not into the muscle. He sent everything to the BHA. Since he didn't hear anything about it, he assumed everything was fine since he went through the proper procedures. The point is that he sent proper documentation to the BHA making them aware of the situation. Al Zarooni, on the other hand, brought the steroid into the country himself, handed syringes to his assistant and instructed his assistant to inject the horses in question in the muscle not the joint. He did not provide any documentation nor did he send any documentation to the BHA. He also did not order the steriod from a vet and have a vet administer it. Everything, on the surface, was done to deceive. There is such a huge difference, also, in where the steroid is injected as far as what effects it has on performance enhancement. Supposedly, and we would need a vet to substantiate this, injecting an anbolic steroid into a joint does not have the performance enhancing effect that injecting it into the muscle does. One trainer was honest and above board in the use, hiding nothing and documenting everything. The other was dishonest, documenting nothing so there would be no paper trail at all. Whether the BHA was sloppy in the Butler case, or felt that the use of the steroid was appropriate and did not pose a threat to performance enhancement, consequently not taking any action, is something you have already commented on, so your opinion is on record. Whether you feel that what shadowno said is more valid than innuendo is also on record. Butler wanted to make sure he brought up his case, knowing eventually it would come to light again. He was being honest and straight forward, wanting to make sure no innuendo could be said about his barn. I wish all trainers were like that.
