No notable Purple Egg and Revolutionary not making the list makes me a very sad person indeed! -tear- But! I agree with much of your choices. 8D
Yes I know. But my point still stands Cocoa. Losing a race DOES NOT make a horse inferior. Neither does the talent of their offspring. If a great horse produces lesser runners, that should never take away from what they did on the track under ANY circumstances.
I should say based on their race records and accomplishments, to be more clear.
I don't believe in rating horses on this site based on the record of their progeny. I DO believe in rating horses on this site based on their race records. This is a horse RACING site, after all. And unless their name is Kincsem, every past great lost at least one race. For me, Man O' War was the best. But it's nearly impossible to TRULY judge who the better horses were when they are separated over so many years and never even met.
Whether he does or not (I personally think he will until he proves to me he wont), he's gorgeous. :)
Whoa Rafi. I was JUST thinking that! He's a very powerful looking horse, too.
Love her turn of foot. Thanks for the links, paul. She looks adorable, too.
I doubt anyone is going to hold one loss to a horse of this talent.
Thanks for that story Rafi. It made me smile.
Wait a minute. Who forgot about Winning Colors? I sure as hell haven't and I doubt anyone else has. She was a great filly but that does not make Personal Ensign inferior. One horse doesn't have to suck for the other to be great. Seriously, rethink everything you just said. All I got from that post was insanity. The anger is strong with this one.
