If nothing changes last minute it's looking like a quick turnaround for Olympic Glory, heading to Longchamp 8 days after winning the G1 Lockinge Stakes for the G1 Prix d'Ispahan over the extended 9f. Trainer Richard Hannon, Jr. said Olympic Glory came out of the Lockinge kicking & bucking and apparently full of p!ss and vinegar looking like he was ready to race again immediately. This will be Olympic Glory's 1st career start beyond a mile and it's a big ask against the likes of Cirrus Des Aigles, Ocovango, Neatico, & Pollyana, but I think the connections are eager to find out if Olympic Glory can be competitive in top G1/G2 races beyond a mile after the same test failed miserably last season with stablemate Toronado in the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes. If you're gonna stretch him out beyond a mile this race over the extended 9f is an ideal place to start, IMO.
