  • DiegoVol · Dont know how I didnt give Groovy a mention. He was actually one of my favorites as a kid. Watching Groovy get left behind in the BC Sprint made me sick. · 2321 days ago

His debut was eagerly awaited at the Spa.The conmections passed and ran himin a 6F Stake at The Meadowlands. He won that race and the rest was history.A problem with this horse was the owner. The trainer wanted to Sprint him,he thought the horse would never get past 7F against the Elite horses. This could of been one of the greatest sprinters of all times,if not the greatest.Unfortunately he was so mismanaged by an overzealous owner. He chased the top 3 year olds in the T.C. chase. If only they let him develop. This guys bio should be on the minds of every modern day owner, who tries to make a horse a distance and Triple Crown Horse. · 2321 days ago
