Saturday's 4th race (2:09pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is the Grade 2 Robert B. Lewis Stakes for 3-year-olds traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.

#3 DRESSED IN HERMES (6-1) hooked subsequent graded winner Exaggerator and rallied to finish 4th in his dirt sprint bow. He won the Zuma Beach on turf after a similar layoff and a fever knocked him out of the G3 Sham. He exits a graded turf score at Del Mar and runner-up Collected returned to take the aforementioned Sham. He hails from a profitable, low profile barn and should offer value.

#5 Mor Spirit (8-5) has been part of my Derby contenders list since last September and I currently have him ranked #2 behind Mohaymen. The $650k son of Eskendereya has been part of the Exacta in all four lifetime starts and projects a tactical trip under Stevens. He could easily win this race for Baffert but is not a numbers standout and won’t offer value.

#6 Path of David (8-1) won both turf starts after moving to the Mulhall barn including a stakes tally over next out winner Imperious One. He is training well here and deserves another chance on dirt.

#2 I Will Score (5-2) is 2-for-2 sprinting for Hollendorfer and is the one to catch under Smith.

THE PLAYS:

$16 to win #3

$8 Exacta 2-3-6/5 ($24)
