Willa B Awesome Back On The Dirt

#2 LADY OF FIFTY (6-5)- Lady of Fifty last out had an impressive win in the Bayakoa on synthetics. She most likely go to the lead and might have an easy lead up front. The most classy horse here.

#3 BOOK REVIEW (7-5)- Book Review will stretch out here, and looks to be fit heading in. She has done alright at this distance, winning a listed stakes by four lengths, but against grade one cometition she lost by six lengths in the Gazelle Handicap at nine furlongs. Her energy distribution numbers appear that she will be close, maybe 2-4 lengths off a slow pace.

#4 WILLA B AWESOME (8-1)- She hasn't won a race since March, but don't let that fool you. She won the Santa Anita Oaks in March, on the dirt. She is 0-6 in the past six on artificial or on the turf. Now, she returns to the dirt, where she does her best running. She has won 2 out of 5 times at Santa Anita, and has placed twice as well. She has been in the money, and to me, appears to be a live longshot.

PLAYS: $4 WPS on Willa B Awesome

Damn, i was afraid of the 6. Bet 24 dollars, beought back 8 dollars. Lost 16. still up 70 on the day, not so bad.
One minute to post. I have my original bet: $4 WPS on #4 and 2-3-4 exacta box. I added $3 WP on Lady of Fifty due to her odds. Good luck everyone!
still no info on your energy distribution measurements?
I AM ALSO PLAYING $3WP ON LADY OF FIFTY, DUE TO HER ODDS. OVERALL BET IS NOW 24 DOLLARS. So, my "amount cashed" will also include that bet. $24 bet overall.
Anita's mid routes run around 68%
what parameters do you use to measure energy distribution % early % median??
Her energy distribution appears to me she will be not so far off the lead. More Chocolate makes this one hard to handicap. she might love the dirt, or hate it we have no idea.
Then I would cash a lot!
And let's say it comes out 2-3 or 3-2: I have an exacta box 2-3-4. So, since I only bet 18 dollars, that exacta could break me even. I really hope it comes out 4-2 or 4-3
Late movers at Anita get to the pace setters right about the 15/16ths pole
I'm not sure if she will win, but I think she is WORTH A SHOT.
Thanks! Good luck to you, Cognibene!
Your assessment is right on rafirox! Willa B Awesome will be coming late and weill definately be there. Will she win? I don't know she's really up against it. But definately is the value of the race. Good luck and I believe you'll cash something!
HALF of the game is played in wager construction and it continues to amaze me that so few recognize this. Read the EXCELLENT book, The Four Quarters of Horse Investing by Fiero, or Cramer's The Odds are on your Side............The MUCH tougher long term aspect of profitability resides in conquering THAT side of the equation, not the handicapping.
Okay, but that is the tip Icy gave me. And I have used that tip several times and cashed.
Understand the idea of riding the coat tails of a short price horse in an exotic, but really, unless they finish third in a tri. you are not making much at all.
I understand that TV. Usually I bet three-four minutes before post time, but many said they'd like for me to share my picks. Lighten up. I know the ML is nothing, but I knwo that WIlla will not be bad odds. Lady of Fifty will be like 7 or 6-5. and I think Book Review will be like 8-5 or so. I think Willa will be like 6-1, 7-1 or 8-1. Your posts are so cliche. Same old same old. This isn't your wager, if you don't like it, don't respond. good day.
rank and file bettors cannot pass races, so after they see the big money on the two favorites, they delude themselves into thinking they are the ONLY ones to look around for alternates. Horses that should be 11/1 wind up at 4/1..Happens all the time in short fields.
SINCE NO reported betting has transpired you have NO IDEA what odds that horse will be, NONE
@TV: I was using a TIP Icy gave me. Icy once told me (Paraphrased, we were talking about my bet in the BC F/M Sprint, Place on Dust and Diamonds) "@rafirox. Instead of betting against a horse you think has to fall down in order to lose, USE him/her in your exotics. I know you said you cashed on Dust and Diamonds with a Place bet. But instead, do a Place bet while using Groupie Doll in your exactas and pick 4's." That tip is what I tried to do here. I used Lady of Fifty in my exotics. I might play a tri at the last minute, too. Plus, I might play a pick 3 or 4 or something.
