Saturday's 9th race (3:48pm ET) from Aqueduct is the Grade II Remsen for 2-year-olds traveling a mile and an eighth on the main track.

#12 Frosted (3-1) must overcome the outside box but the early-pressing type should be able to secure a decent forward position in a race that came up light on pace. McLaughlin excels first time lasix and the improving son of Tapit is firing Belmont bullets for this.

Play Saturday's Aqueduct games at

#11 Ostrolenka (4-1) exits back-to-back flat mile tallies at Belmont and the sharp NY-bred might sneak away early for Johnny V-Pletcher.

#10 Classy Class (7-2) looked good in his Belmont sprint bow Oct 25. McLaughlin trains this one as well and the $250k son of Discreetly Mine will probably stalk the pace under Castellano.

The Plays:

$24 to win #12

$1 Trifecta Box 10, 11, 12 ($6)

.50 cent Trifecta 12 with ALL with 10, 11 ($10)

Do you get that he's witching at me? It's all right there in Brisnet pps and yes, last week I did ask someone who is employed by that company directly about them posting comments such as "may improve with Lasix added" in their pps. In the particular race I was looking at, the L added horse lost, badly. Tell you what, amino, my picks are The Yellow River by I.P.Freeley and The Yellow Sea by I.P. Moore. Okay, Lasix is a diuretic. And yes, there are more 1st time L losers than 1st time L winners. Statistics that.
contenders: 2 Frosted 10 Classy Class 11 Ostrolenka 7 Eh Cumpari 3 Combat Diver Hard to predict the pace setters but 12 11 9 7 come late here As with ANY contest, the wager is created after the ODDS are available.
Mark Twain recognized what I did LONG before I was born. Figures often beguile me, particularly when I have the arranging of them myself; in which case the remark attributed to Disraeli would often apply with justice and force: "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics." - Mark Twain's Own Autobiography: The Chapters from the North American Review
travel_vic • Ah statistics is a study people THINK they understand, but sadly do not...
The 12's trainer's first time Lasix horses do not win 72 % of the time in 2014 The colt has run well two of the tries without the diuretic. Colt also has good late pace.
