I will admit, I often snag my husband's Men's Journal magazine before he has a chance to crack it open. To my delight, Sept.'s issue features an in-depth interview with Kevin Plank, and it starts out with his love of horse racing, including his goal of hooking as many possible on horses. Years ago he was alarmed that Baltimore was going to let the Preakness move out of state, and no one seemed to care. "It's a 134 yr old tradition, and you're going to let it walk?" So he bought Sagamore Farm, and the rest is history. A fascinating read! I've always been a fan of Under Armour, as everyone in my family is involved in some type of sport or activity where UA is often our gear of choice (check out their new running shoes). I am a bigger fan of the man behind the brand. I'll post a link to the article once available--in the meantime, the Sept. issue sports a flashy red sports car on the cover.
