Jack C. Van Berg

Just heard Jack on TVG. He blasted everyone from the Gov. Of California to city Government for the death of Hollywood Park. Asked what he was doing after HP's closure, he said"I'm outta here. Going to Arkansas and Oaklawn." Hopefully CA racing can pull together and keep up their quality, but I have a feeling that There may well be an exodus from the state. Hopefully not.

jay s. · Actually, "one-man-quest" isn't fair. HRTV has made outstanding editions of "Inside Information" on Swale and Ferdinand. I sure wish they would do one on Gate Dancer. You'd have JVB, Pincay, McCarron, Eddie D., Cordero, and Day all with insights. Gosh, how I'd love to see that. Especially since JVB is getting into his 70s. · 3681 days ago
