Works report: Hot Rod Charlie drills, Slow Down Andy returns

Hot Rod Charlie had his second work back since a runner-up effort in the Dubai World Cup and stablemate Slow Down Andy, who fell ill prior to a projected start in the Kentucky Derby, returned to the tab for trainer Doug O'Neill. 

Hot Rod Charlie worked a half mile in 49.6 seconds at Santa Anita. He is pointed to the $750,000 Stephen Foster (G2) at Churchill Downs on July 2. Slow Down Andy also breezed at Santa Anita, completing three furlongs in 36.0 seconds.
