Fan favorite Arklow returned to the work tab for the first time since finishing sixth in the Kentucky Turf Cup (G2) on Sept. 10. The 8-year-old son of Arch, trained by Brad Cox, covered four furlongs in an easy 50.4 seconds on the dirt at Ellis Park.

Promising 2-year-old Havnameltdown also worked Monday for the first time since his last start. The Bob Baffert trainee went four furlongs in 48.8 seconds on the Santa Anita dirt. Already a winner of the Best Pal (G3) on Aug. 14, the son of Uncaptured most recently finished second in the Del Mar Futurity (G1), his first attempt at the top level.

It was the sixth fastest of nine works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Saratoga. In his last start he won the Fourstardave (G1) going one mile on the turf at Saratoga on Aug. 13 for trainer Bill Mott.

Arklow (Arch), a Grade 1 winner (2019 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic), worked four furlongs in 50.4 seconds at Ellis Park on Monday morning. It was the sixth fastest of nine works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed sixth in the Kentucky Turf Cup (G2) going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 10 for trainer Brad Cox.

Kalypso (Brody's Cause), a Grade 1 winner (2021 La Brea), worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Belmont Park on Monday morning. It was the 11th fastest of 18 works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Belmont Park. In her last start she placed second in the Seeking the Pearl going seven furlongs on the main track at Colonial Downs on Aug. 16 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Storm the Court (Court Vision), a Grade 1 winner (2019 Breeders' Cup Juvenile), worked five furlongs in 1:02.0 at Santa Anita on Monday morning. It was the 25th fastest of 35 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he placed fourth in an allowance race going one mile on the turf at Del Mar on Aug. 21 for trainer Peter Eurton.

War Like Goddess (English Channel), a Grade 1 winner (2021 Flower Bowl), worked four furlongs in 49.8 seconds at Saratoga on Monday morning. It was the sixth fastest of nine works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Saratoga. In her last start she placed second in the Flower Bowl (G2) going 1 3/8 miles on the turf at Saratoga on Sept. 3 for trainer Bill Mott.

Travel Column (Frosted), a two-time Grade 2 winner (2021 Fair Grounds Oaks, 2020 Golden Rod), worked five furlongs in 1:00.2 at Saratoga on Monday morning. Wicked Halo (Gun Runner), a two-time Grade 2 winner (2022 Prioress, 2021 Adirondack), worked four furlongs in 50.0 seconds at Churchill Downs on Monday morning.
