It has been more than 1 1/2 years since Breeders’ Cup winner Fire At Will took part in a race. Continuing his comeback, the 4-year-old Declaration of War colt turned in a bullet workout going three furlongs in 36.6 seconds at the Churchill Training Center.

Trained by Mike Maker, Fire At Will has not had a start since he finished third in the Transylvania (G3) in the spring of 2021 at Keeneland. Shortly after that, he got nearly 10 months off only to return to the work tab just three times early this year. After another seven months on the bench, he resumed breezing in early October.
