No longer on the Kentucky Derby 2023 trail, Cave Rock turned in a 58.8-second workout over five furlongs for trainer Bob Baffert on Saturday morning at Santa Anita.

It has been exactly four months since the Arrogate colt last raced, finishing second to eventual champion Forte in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

Baffert has not confirmed a next race for Cave Rock.
