In his last breeze before he is likely to be favored in next Saturday’s Grade 1, $500,000 Woodward Stakes at Aqueduct, Life Is Good turned in a five-furlong workout Saturday.

The 4-year-old Into Mischief colt trained by Todd Pletcher was clocked at 1:00.7, the third fastest workout among the 15 covering that distance on the main track at Saratoga.

Already past $4 million in earnings for owners CHC and WinStar Farm, Life Is Good will try to win next weekend for the ninth time in 11 starts and for the fourth time in a Grade 1 race. He is expected to finish his year Nov. 5 in the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland.

On a day when Life Is Good and world No. 1 Flightline had workouts, 66 other graded-stakes winners also had timed breezes on North American tabs.
