It was not just Flightline who turned in one last breeze before his big race next week. A total of 36 graded-stakes winners who were among the pre-entries for next week’s Breeders’ Cup were on work tabs Saturday morning at Keeneland and at six other tracks.

Four of those horses who were expected in the big races next Friday and Saturday turned in bullet works. Domestic Spending in the Mile, Virginia Joy in the Filly & Mare Turf or the Turf, Cyberknife in the Dirt Mile or the Classic and Going to Vegas in the Filly & Mare Turf had the fastest moves at their respective distances and tracks. Domestic Spending and Virginia Joy worked together for trainer Chad Brown.
