Given the crowd's penchant for OVER betting big movers, Gronk may not get above 3/1..or less
given the connections this is one we might see at Woodbine.
Fantastic pedigree, gearing up for his debut
Working smartly for his debut. His half sister could have been any kind (RIP). We'll see if this one has similar talent. Should be debuting soon
Excited to see this one's debut coming up. His dam was a really good one
Very impressive debut victory for this horse. More impressive when factoring in ground loss. A nice pedigree to go longer as well. Circle the American Pharoah Stakes for this one.
She was really strong in the Lake Placid. Nice to see her back in good form. Looks like QE2 next with no prep.
Per DRF Grening--Irad Ortiz will ride Wonder Gadot in the Travers.
Could this be Bafferts 3rd Triple Crown Winner?? If so, then he needs to do it with Roadster a gray or roan colt that looks like Arrogate and can rate like him. I can’t wait to see what he does because I’m hearing a lot of good things about him and going longer I’m leaning towards Roadster rather than the sprint champion of horse racing right now Instagrand.
Gun It is a half to Gun Runner and I’m so excited for his debut I can’t wait to see what he can do I know he’s gonna be ready and hopefully very special
This Horse right here is very fast almost broke a track record in his first race at Churchill Downs and I believe he will only get stronger and better because he looks like he wants to go longer I cannot wait to see him Demolish the Hopeful Field.
Dream Maker - I have no idea what happened to my long post about the key race he came out of. Are there character limits to these posts? If so, can someone tell me instead of just deleting my comment? This way I would know going forward. Anyway, I mentioned the horses he beat ended up running in/winning a key race. The good thing is he will likely face Mucho and or others in a stakes race and be decent odds. It appears all is well with him as he fired a 5f bullet in 59.33 at Saratoga on 8/15. As I mentioned I'm very much looking forward to him progressing as he is my current top pick (by a very slim margin) to win the BC Juvenile.
Watch Unique Bella's only time she didn't show up. Watch the jockey jerking back several times on the reins after turning for home!
Over to you "Good Magic". "Diversify" has shown us that he's ready, "Accelerate" has shown us that he's ready, now it's your turn, I hope you're ready to show us all that you're a Top 3 BC Classic contender. :-)
is this really going to be the field? wow. I may wager this. There are a lot of horses that are going to be way undervalued. I was actually liking firenze fire but i dont see the horse here. The best 1/4 of these horses was run by gronk and i think hes going to be undervalue by a lot. Right now- Gronkowski 40% Good magic 20% Bravazo, tenfold 10% Overvalued i think wonder gadot is probably bad money against this field strength, mendelssohn looked terrible but I may take a flyer at 20-1 or so I. I think its either GM or gronk with spoilers bravazo and tenfold. I think the best value is going to be gronk My heart breaks for Victor. He is one of my favorite jockeys. No he is not big money mike, or the never aging famed Stevens, or the dynamic duo Ortiz brothers, but he is Victor. The endearing jockey who stole hearts aboard California chrome in a rags to riches story, the proud jockey who gave us the first triple crown in almost four decades, and the fun loving dancing star. Victor’s love for his job, the sport, and these animals is always apparent and I pray for his healing and that he finds strength to get through these tough days. Also it was wonderful to read that Gary Stephens has been visiting him. One of the most stand up guys in all of racing.
Dream Maker - I forgot to mention my boy worked a bullet 5f in 59.33 at Saratoga on 8/15. I've been reading lists of top 2yo colts and noticed Dream Maker ins't listed on any of them. I assume he is the forgotten horse. Personally speaking, this horse ran one of the most impressive 2yo races I've seen this year. I would imagine Mark C is working him up to his stakes debut. I hope he runs against Mucho, Chad's top horses, Todd P top horses, my boy Nitrous, and others. If so, I should get decent odds on him and maybe Nitrous. As much as I like Nitrous, Dream Maker is my early pick to win the Juvenile. Mainly because I'm convinced this colt is very talented and wants to route. Yes, I'm aware of Instagrand, Roadster, and the other talented 2yo colts. I'm hoping the West Coast horses will beat up on each other before they head to CD. Even if they don't, I still like this colt. Also, his first race has turned out to be a key race. Fluminese finished 3rd in DM debut race. Fluminense came back and won by 6 3/4 lengths over Manny Wah. The same Manny Wah that was a game 3rd in the Ellis Park Juvenile S...he was over 11 lengths ahead of the 4th place finisher. Ready and Rich was 2nd in DM debut race. He finished 2nd (Tobacco Road was 5th in this race) next out to Tight Ten while finishing over 2 lengths ahead of the 3rd place finisher. The 3rd place finisher in the Tight Ten race was Mr. Ankeny who finished a game 2nd by 2 1/2 lengths behind Tobacco Road who won the Ellis Park Juvenile. Prior to today, Manny Wah broke his maiden at Arlington Park. Bucktail Spinner came out of the Fluminese race at CD and finished 2nd to Carter Cat in an $85,000 MSW race at Saratoga. Always Mining was 4th in MD debut race. He broke his maiden at Laurel by 4 1/2 lengths while beating the heavy favorite. He was 3.10/1 in the race. Thousand Percent was 6th in MD debut race. He broke his maiden next out in a $31,900 Maiden claiming (he was in for the $50,000 tag) race by 2 1/2 lengths after a troubled start. Backtohisroots was 2nd in the race Thousand Percent won. He was over 8 lengths ahead of the 3rd place finisher. Backtohisroots ran next out in a $50,000 maiden claiming (he was in for the $50,000 tag) race at Saratoga and he won by 3 3/4 lengths. I can go on, but I think I've made my case for Dream Maker:) Not only did he win a key race, but horses he beat have won races that ended up being a key race. Yes, I realize 2yo can run a big race and then not show up in the next race. Also, I realize 2yo are unpredictable and the ones you least expect can beat you. However, when I find key races with branches like this one...those horses normally live up to the hype.
Tobacco Road - My boy is about to run in the Ellis Park Juvenile S. IMO, this colt gives all the impressions he wants to route. I like him going 7f today. However, no bet at 2/1. Plus, you never know when (or which one at times) a 2yo is going to figure things out and run a big race. My boy Whiskey Echo (his stablemate) is the 9/5 favorite. IMO, he is the deserving favorite as his numbers are better than others in this field. I haven't watched any races to know how the track is playing so I won't make any bets in this race. Whiskey is fast, and Tobacco Road will probably be a little further back. I'll be glad for a win by either. However, I do believe Tobacco Road has a bright future when he runs two turns.
1 5 4 6 but there will be an inquiry for bumping late..Jockey claim probably as well.
