Volatile, the speedy winner of the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt, worked an easy 4 furlongs for trainer Steve Asmussen at Saratoga Monday morning as he prepares for a likely start in the Vosburgh. Across the country, Shared Belief Stakes winner Thousand Words, who vaulted back into the Kentucky Derby picture with a win over Honor A. P., worked 4 furlongs at Del Mar for Bob Baffert.
