Many of the leading hopefuls for the first Saturday in September hit the track on August 1st as they ramped up preparations for their next starts. Multiple Grade 1 winner Tiz the Law put forth a swift 5 furlong drill at Belmont Park. Grade 3 winner Uncle Chuck, who could pose the biggest challenge to Tiz the Law in the Travers Stakes, worked a bullet 5 furlongs at Del Mar. Peter Pan victor and fellow Travers contender Country Grammer and Blue Grass winner and likely Ellis Park Derby favorite Art Collector each put in strong 4 furlong spins as they look to continue their rapid ascent on the Derby Trail. Check out the list of graded stakes horses to work on Saturday:

Tiz the Law (Constitution) a three time Grade 1 winner (2020 Belmont 2020 Florida Derby 2019 Champagne) worked 5 furlongs in 59.9 at Saratoga on Saturday morning.
