Speaker's Corner was expected to be a tough rival for Life Is Good in Saturday's John A. Nerud (G2) at Belmont Park, but as the Equibase chart indicates, he was "no match."
With Flavien Prat riding, Life Is Good pulled away from Speaker's Corner to win by five lengths, covering the seven furlongs in 1:21.70.
His second win of the season and seventh of nine overall earned him a Beyer Speed Figure of 112, the highest for the weekend. He also earned a 108 Brisnet Speed Rating and a 136 TimeformUs Speed Figure.
Brisnet and TimeformUS were more impressed with Olympiad, assigning him figures of 109 and 136, respectively – the highest of the weekend for both services. The 4-year-old colt won the Stephen Foster (G2) at Churchill Downs by 2 1/4 lengths Saturday, earning a 111 Beyer. With Junior Alvarado aboard, he covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:47.66.
Here are the highest Beyer figures from Daily Racing Form, as provided on Twitter by Steve Byk, along with TimeformUS Speed Figures, as provided by Craig Milkowski, and Brisnet Speed Ratings, where available.
