Mind Control and Hot Rod Charlie put on a show Saturday with their stretch duel in the Grade 3 Salvator Mile at Monmouth Park, with Mind Control prevailing by a head.

Their effort earned them the highest Brisnet Speed Rating among stakes winners for the weekend, at 107, and they each received 104 Beyer Speed Figures from Daily Racing Form.

With John Velazquez riding, Mind Control covered the mile in 1:35.79. Mike Smith was aboard Hot Rod Charlie.

Home Brew's impressive win in the Pegasus, also at Monmouth Park, earned him a 105 Brisnet rating, a 97 Beyer and a 144 TimeformUS Speed Figure. Paco Lopez guided the Brad Cox trainee to a 6 1/4-length victory, covering the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.20.

These were the top Brisnet Speed Ratings for last weekend's stakes winners (plus Hot Rod Charlie), along with Beyer and Timeform figures where available.
