Slow Down Andy wired the field in the Grade 1 Awesome Again at Santa Anita on Saturday and earned a 105 Brisnet Speed Rating, tied for highest among the week’s stakes winners.

It was the first win this year for the 4-year-old son of Nyquist, who qualified for the Breeders’ Cup Classic with the victory. With Mario Gutierrez riding, he covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:47.62.

Also earning a 105 Brisnet was Missed the Cut, a 4-year-old Quality Road colt who raced in Europe last year and got his first U.S. win in the Tokyo City Cup (G3) on Sunday at Santa Anita after four starts here. Umberto Rispoli rode him to a 5 1/4-length win in the 1 1/2-mile race.

Slow Down Andy also earned a 101 Beyer Speed Figure from Daily Racing Form and a 122 TimeformUS Speed Figure for his Awesome Again win. Missed the Cut got a 98 Beyer.

Zandon earned a 105 Beyer, the highest of the week, for his win in the Woodward (G2).

Here are the figures for last week's highest-rated stakes winners, ranked by Brisnet Speed Ratings, with Beyers and TimeformUS Speed Figures where available.
