Tax, No Parole highlight Tuesday's graded stakes works

Grade 2 winner Tax, who is trying to return to his peak form ahead of the Breeders' Cup Classic, worked a bullet 5 furlongs at Saratoga on Tuesday morning for trainer Danny Gargan. Grade 1 winner No Parole worked a swift 4 furlongs in :47.40 at Churchill Downs for trainer Tom Amoss after being scratched from last Saturday's Pat Day Mile.

Nicodemus (Candy Ride) a Grade 3 winner (2019 Westchester) worked 4 furlongs in 48.4 at Belmont Park on Tuesday morning. It was the third fastest of 31 works at the distance. His previous work was 7 days ago going 4 furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he placed third in an allowance race going 1 mile on the main track at Belmont Park on July 2 for trainer Linda Rice.
