Enable, an early entry for the May 31 Coronation Cup at Epsom, will see her 5-year-old debut delayed in favor of a race the next month at Royal Ascot, Racing Post reported Wednesday.

The last-out winner of the Breeders’ Cup Turf will ultimately target a third straight victory in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this fall, with her campaign to begin in either Ascot’s Prince of Wales’s Stakes (G1) or Harwicke (G2).

“We are definitely not committing yet to one race over the other,” said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Prince Khalid Abdullah, but he indicated the Prince of Wales’s appears the more likely option.

The June 19 Prince of Wales’s goes at 10 furlongs, with the June 22 Harwicke at a mile and a half.

Enable has one previous Ascot start to her name, winning the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (G1) in 2017.

According to Racing Post, Enable is the current second wagering choice in the Prince of Wales’s to Sea of Class, who she narrowly defeated in last year’s Arc. In the Coronation Cup, Enable could have met Magical, the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly she defeated at Churchill Downs in the Breeders' Cup.
