The heaviest favorite to win a Breeders' Cup race next week at Del Mar put in her final workout Saturday in preparation for the championships.

Gamine, the reigning female-sprint champion, went an easy five furlongs in 1:00.6 at Santa Anita. She was preparing one more time before she is shipped to Del Mar for the Breeders' Cup on Nov. 5 and 6.

There were 30 graded-stakes winners who breezed across North America on Saturday.

Gamine (Into Mischief) a five-time Grade 1 winner worked 5 furlongs in 1:00.6 at Santa Anita Park on Saturday morning. It was the 14th fastest of 38 works at the distance.
