Zandon co-owner Jeff Drown said he and trainer Chad Brown have yet to decide whether the colt, who finished third in the Kentucky Derby, will run in the Preakness Stakes.

"All of our options are on the table," Drown told the St. Cloud Times, a newspaper in his home state Minnesota.

The primary goal for Zandon is the Travers (G1) on Aug. 27 at Saratoga, Drown said.

Drown is not disappointed with Zandon's performance in the Derby.

"I thought he ran a gutsy race. He was very competitive, and I was just really proud."

He also said he has "a couple right now that we think could maybe make it next year."

Zandon won the Blue Grass (G1) in his last start before the Derby. Before that, he was third in the Risen Star (G2) and second in the Remsen (G2).
