Ownership group Linette Stables donates winnings to military charity

New York-based Thoroughbred ownership group Linette Stables will continue charitable efforts and donate 10% of its share of the net earnings from their jointly owned horse, Aire Bueno, and his last race on June 30 at Monmouth Park, where the gelding finished third.

The funds will be given to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a leading military charity.

“We are a small-scale operation, so our donations will pale in comparison to others, but we still believe it is important to help out our heroes in uniform who keep us safe," said co-owner Graig Couton. “We will also donate 10% of our share of the net earnings in Aire Bueno’s next race as well.”

A Chilean-bred, Aire Bueno has won 13 of his 54 career starts. The 9-year-old will make his next start for trainer Gary Contessa.

Linette Stables has previously donated 10% of its net earnings to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund after their horse, No Hiding, raced on April 28
 and May 20
