Monday tab: Watch Flightline tune up for Met Mile

Undefeated Flightline, working toward the Met Mile (G1), worked five furlongs at Monday morning at Santa Anita in a bullet 59.4 seconds. The four-year-old son of Tapit is undefeated in three starts for trainer John Sadler and owners Hronis Racing LLC, Siena Farm LLC, Summer Wind Equine LLC, West Point Thorughbreds and Woodford Raicng LLC. Flightline has not raced since winning the Malibu (G1) on Dec. 21.

The Met Mile will be run June 11 at Belmont Park. The race will be Flightline's first start against older stakes horses. In addition to Flightline, the field for the Met Mile is expected to include Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Aloha West and Carter (G1) winner Speaker's Corner.
