Two names can be removed from the list of "possibles" for this year's Breeders' Cup Distaff: Envoutante and Crazy Beautiful. Trainer Kenny McPeek informed Horse Racing Nation on Tuesday that neither horse would be making the trip to Del Mar to compete in the $2 million Distaff on Nov. 6.

Envoutante, a Grade 1-placed stakes winner this year, was fifth in Sunday's Spinster (G1) at Keeneland after chasing division leader Letruska for the opening half mile and then fading. Crazy Beautiful is a four-time stakes winner this year, including three graded events. She most recently won the Seneca Overnight at Churchill Downs on Oct. 1.

McPeek said Crazy Beautiful will be switched to the turf for a start in the $100,000 Valley View (G3) at Keeneland on Oct. 29, while Envoutante will target the $500,000 Falls City (G2) at Churchill Downs on Nov. 25.

Owned by Walking L Thoroughbreds and Three Chimneys Farm, Envoutante this past spring was second to Shedaresthedevil in the La Troienne (G1) and won the Shawnee Stakes, both at Churchill Downs. She would go on to add graded-stakes placings in the Fleur De Lis (G2) and Locust Grove (G3) prior to the Spinster.

Crazy Beautiful won the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) and Summertime Oaks (G2) at Santa Anita earlier this year, which bookended a disappointing 10th-place finish in the Kentucky Oaks. She added a third graded-stakes win in the Delaware Oaks (G3) this summer.
