Leading Breeders' Cup contenders across the country hit the track to work out on Monday morning. Maximum Security, who could be favored in the Breeders' Cup Classic, worked a strong 6 furlongs in 1:11.40 at Santa Anita Park for trainer Bob Baffert. Maximum Security's stablemate Improbable drilled a swift 5 furlongs in :59.40 at Santa Anita Park and fellow Classic contender Tom's d'Etat went 4 furlongs in :50.80 at Churchill Downs for trainer Al Stall Jr.

Sadler's Joy (Kitten's Joy) a Grade 1 winner (2017 Longines Sword Dancer) worked 4 furlongs in 49.2 at Belmont Park on Monday morning. It was the 8th fastest of 25 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed fourth in the Sword Dancer (G1) going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Saratoga on Aug. 29 for trainer Thomas Albertrani.

Tom's d'Etat (Smart Strike) a Grade 1 winner (2019 Clark) worked 4 furlongs in 50.8 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 34th fastest of 49 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed third in the Whitney (G1) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 1 for trainer Al Stall Jr. 

Engage (Into Mischief) a Grade 2 winner (2019 Phoenix) worked 5 furlongs in 1:01.0 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the second fastest of 13 works at the distance. His previous work was 8 days ago going 5 furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he placed fourth in the Breeders' Cup Sprint going 6 furlongs on the main track at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 2 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Mr. Money (Goldencents) a four time Grade 3 winner worked 4 furlongs in 50.2 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 30th fastest of 49 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed 10th in the Charles Town Classic (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Hollywood Casino At Charles Town Races on Aug. 28 for trainer Bret Calhoun.

Echo Town (Speightstown) a Grade 1 winner (2020 H. Allen Jerkens ) worked 4 furlongs in 51.2 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 39th fastest of 49 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed fifth in the Pat Day Mile (G2) going 1 mile on the main track at Churchill Downs on September 5 for trainer Steve Asmussen. 

Max Player (Honor Code) a Grade 3 winner (2020 Withers) worked 4 furlongs in 51.6 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 46th fastest of 49 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed fifth in the Kentucky Derby going 1 1/4 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on Sept. 5 for trainer Steve Asmussen. 

Maximum Security (New Year's Day) a four time Grade 1 winner worked 6 furlongs in 1:11.4 at Santa Anita Park on Monday morning. It was the fastest of 1 works at the distance.
