The first set of Kentucky Derby 2018 future odds are out from Wynn Las Vegas, and the early favorite is no surprise. The Tabulator, winner of the Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs on Sept. 16, and earner of the first 10 Kentucky Derby points, is listed at 40-1 for the 2018 Run for the Roses.
The Tabulator is unbeaten in 3 lifetime starts for trainer Larry Rivelli and owner Carolyn Wilson of Chicago. The colt, sired by Dialed In, won the Prairie Gold Juvenile at Prairie Meadows en route to the Iroquois score. The Tabulator's next start is projected to be the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
Sharing favoritism with The Tabulator is Del Mar Futurity winner, Bolt d'Oro. The California-based colt is trained by Mick Ruis for his family's Ruis Racing stable. Medaglia d'Oro is the sire of this promising Derby contender.
