It was a busy day on the tab across the country, with 33 graded stakes winners taking to the track, including Hot Rod Charlie. The Pennsylvania Derby (G1) winner went five furlongs in 1:01.2 at Santa Anita, good for 15th fastest out of 50 works at the distance.
