It's time for the eighth consecutive of "Hats Off to the Horses: The Road to the Derby", the annual online Derby hat auction created by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® to support the retired racehorses of Old Friends. All of the proceeds from this running auction benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement facility in KY and you can read all about it at http://www.maggiemae.com/OldFriendsAuction.htm  

Our first hat up on the auction block is the "Alphabet Soup" Chapeau created 
to honor 1996 Breeders' Cup winner, Alphabet Soup. The hat with full description and photos can be seen at The Alphabet Soup Hat webpage.
