Bob Baffert’s Flor de La Mar and Jerry Hollendorfer’s Sneaking Out headline Sunday’s Grade 2, $200,000 Summertime Oaks at Santa Anita Park. For 3-year-old fillies, the Summertime Oaks, which attracted a field of five, will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth.

Distanced at odds of 26-1 in the Kentucky Oaks on May 3, this Kentucky-bred daughter of Tiznow, out of the Pulpit mare Sacristy, was also second to Bellafina two starts back in the Santa Anita Oaks (G1) on April 6. A galloping five-length first out maiden winner going 6 ½ furlongs on Jan. 20, Flor de La Mar, a $500,000 Keeneland September Yearling, seeks her first graded stakes victory in what will be her fifth start. Ridden by eastern-based Joel Rosario in three out of her four starts, she’ll get the first-time services of Mike Smith on Sunday.

A winner of three consecutive main track sprints dating back to a 5 ½-furlong score on synthetic at Golden Gate Fields on March 22, this California-bred daughter of Indian Evening, out of KMN Racing’s Kitten’s Joy mare Maddie’s Odyssey, Sneaking Out will be trying two turns for the first time and will no doubt try to take full advantage of her considerable speed in the five-horse Oaks. A three-quarter length winner of the seven-furlong Angels Flight Stakes here on May 4, she’ll be ridden by Drayden Van Dyke, who was up for 10 ½-length maiden win four starts back on Sept. 2 and a 2 ½-length victory versus state-breds going 6 ½ furlongs two starts back in the Evening Jewel Stakes.

Race 6 of 9; approximate post time 3:30 p.m. PT

1. My Majestic Rose—Flavien Prat—120
2. Bizwhacks—Mario Gutierrez—120
