It'll be a big week at Belmont Park, where 14 graded stakes will be on offer leading up to the Belmont Stakes.

Can Cody's Wish keep his win streak going in the Grade 1 Met Mile? Will Pretty Mischievous build on her Kentucky Oaks (G1) win? The Ogden Phipps (G1) is loaded, with Secret Oath, Clairiere and Played Hard expected. Elite Power Also could be at Belmont, looking to extend his six-race win streak. And three of the races at the New York track are win-and-you're-ins for the Breeders' Cup.

Santa Anita also has two graded stakes this weekend, and Churchill Downs moved its Matt Winn (G3) to Ellis Park along with the rest of the races remaining in its meet.

Here's an early look at the likely fields.

Thursday

Wonder Again (G2), Belmont Park, 1 1/8 miles (turf), 3-year-old fillies

Venencia broke her maiden on debut last year in France. Now with Chad Brown, she rallied after a slow start as the favorite in a Keeneland allowance to finish third in April. Revalita also got her start in France and finished second by 3/4 length last out in the Edgewood (G2). Spansive is 2-for-2 and led at every call in both her wins.

Sunday

Matt Winn (G3), Ellis Park, 1 1/8 miles, 3-year-olds

Trainers were evaluating and re-evaluating after this race was moved with the rest of the remaining Churchill Downs meet to Ellis Park. Two Phil’s trainer Larry Rivelli is leaning toward the Ohio Derby (G3) for his Kentucky Derby runner-up, but he said there’s a “slim chance” he could run here. Ron Moquett, trainer of King Russell, likes that a half-furlong was added to the usual distance with the move to Western Kentucky. Brad Cox planned to run Blue Grass (G1) runner-up Verifying in this race but said he has to “do some homework” with the change.
