Exclusive Strike Romps at Monmouth Park

Mr. Amore Stable’s Exclusive Strike took command at the top of the stretch and drew off to a convincing 4 ¼ length score in the $40,000 Malouf Auto Group Starter Series #4 at Monmouth Park on Friday.  Friday’s feature was the last in the starter series installments, which saw Exclusive Strike capture 50% of those races.

 

Trained by Jason Servis and ridden by Paco Lopez, Exclusive Strike covered the mile and three-eighths over firm turf in 2:23 flat.  The winner returned $9.40, $5 and $3 in the field of eight colts and geldings.  David K completed the $103.80 exacta and paid $9 to place and $4.60 to show.  Sir Rabbit was a nose back in third, good for a $7.60 show mutuel.

 

A 4-year-old gelding by Smart Strike from the Roi Normand mare Glaire, Exclusive Strike has won two races this season and five lifetime.
