The dual Arc de Triopmhe winner Enable, who also visited the United States for a Breeders' Cup Turf victory, will remain in training next year, owner and Breeder Juddmonte Farms announced Monday.

Enable could make more history after becoming the first horse to win the Arc and a Breeders' Cup race in the same season. The daughter of Nathaniel, who turns 5 on Jan. 1, “will feature the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe as a prime target," said Juddmonte racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe.

Beyond that, "No racing schedule has been set," Grimthorpe added.

Enable is the eighth two-time Arc winner. Seven horses, most recently Treve in 2015, have mad bids for a third, but none have yet completed the hat trick.

Trained by John Gosden, regularly with Frankie Dettori in the irons, Enable is 10-for-11 during her career, but her 4-year-old season was an abbreviated one. She prepped just once for the Arc due to an injury in the spring and ran three races in all in 2018.

Overseas books already list her at 4-1 for the 2019 Arc.
