Churchill Downs today announced its new Guest Chef Series @ Millionaire’s Row, which brings two of Louisville’s most celebrated chefs to 2017 Spring Meet’s Downs After Dark presented by Stella Artois and Woodford Reserve night racing events. The new series is a separate ticketed event on Millionaire’s Row 6 for 250 guests during each of Spring Meet’s two Downs After Dark parties.  Tickets to each Guest Chef Series @ Millionaire’s Row are $149 and available at www.churchilldowns.com/downsafterdark.

At each Guest Chef Series @ Millionaire’s Row, a celebrated local chef will cook and serve a menu they designed to match the racetrack’s Downs After Dark theme for the evening. Each menu will also include spirit tastings. The chefs and the Downs After Dark theme for each evening and menu are:

·        Chef Anthony Lamas of Seviche a Latin Restaurant: June 17 South Beach with El Jimador Tequila

·        Chef Patrick Roney of Harvest Restaurant: June 30 Downs Does the Decades with Finlandia Vodka
Guests will have the chance to mingle with the chef and watch them cook up close as the chef serves the evening’s menu at a Chef’s Buffet Table. In addition to reserved table seating, guests will enjoy a specially decorated soft lounge area, a full bar package from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and access to the sixth floor balcony overlooking the finish line while live DJs, including WFPK’s Matt Anthony, bring the party to life.  A racing program is included with the ticket.

Known as the best party in town, each Downs After Dark will feature 11 thrilling Thoroughbred races, live music and specialty cocktails. Downs After Dark tickets start at $10 and are available at www.churchilldowns.com/downsafterdark. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with first post at 6:00 p.m.
