With Happy Saver's win in Saturday's Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) completing the prep schedule for the Breeders' Cup Classic, it is worth an updated look at the future odds being offered for North America's richest race on Nov. 7.

While Improbable at 4-1 and Tiz the Law at 9-2 remain the clear-cut top two choices in international markets, there was some shakeup in the prices listed for the $6 million Classic. Preakness heroine Swiss Skydiver has floated up to a best price of 11-1 from 8-1 early last week, presumably on the news from HRN that owner Peter Callahan's preference was to run in the Breeders' Cup Distaff rather than the Classic. She was leapfrogged on the board by Tom's d'Etat, who was shortened to 10-1 from 12-1.

Other movers were a direct result of this past weekend's action. Happy Saver, who improved to 4-for-4 for Todd Pletcher after edging Mystic Guide in the 1 1/4-miles Jockey Club Gold Cup, is trading at 25-1 after previously not having a price quoted. Pletcher on Sunday said Happy Saver was doing well the day after the Jockey Club Gold Cup and the Classic, also at a mile and a quarter, was on the radar.

"That's what we're going to think about," Pletcher said. "We'll see how he bounces out of this and let him take us there when he wants to."

While trainer Michael Stidham said on Sunday runner-up Mystic Guide would likely skip the Classic, potentially still in the mix is third-place finisher Tacitus.

In the Jockey Club Gold Cup, Tacitus set a moderate pace and took the field into the stretch before being overtaken by both Happy Saver and Mystic Guide. Trainer Bill Mott has not said whether the Juddmonte Farms' homebred will try the Classic, but his odds shortened from 40-1 last week to 33-1 currently.

There is at least one defection from the Classic in the odds table below: Code of Honor. On Sunday, trainer Shug McGaughey said the 4-year-old colt would skip the Classic and point towards either the Grade 1 Clark at Churchill Downs on Nov. 27 or the Grade 1 Cigar Mile on Dec. 5 at Aqueduct.
