In the most recent update of 2018 Breeders’ Cup Classic odds from the Wynn Las Vegas, Triple Crown winner Justify has been removed from the board.

Justify was previously 11-5 to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic from the Wynn after opening at 5-2. Connections announced Tuesday, July 10, race plans were put on hold for Justify and he would be evaluated for a swollen left front ankle.

Bob Baffert had the Triple Crown winner in training at Santa Anita Park, but Justify had no registered works following his Belmont Stakes win June 9.

With the removal of Justify, Baffert still has the top two contenders from the Wynn odds to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic. West Coast is tabbed as the current 5-1 favorite over stablemate Collected, who is at 8-1. Two-time Grade 1 winner West Coast has been away since his runner-up finish in the Dubai World Cup March 31. Collected has been on the shelf longer, with his last race being the Jan. 27 Pegasus World Cup. Collected finished seventh while West Coast was second to Gun Runner, who is now retired to stud duty.

The 9-1 third choice is Dubai World Cup winner Thunder Snow, who is slated to run in the Jockey Club Gold Cup before the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

Upcoming “Win and You’re In” races for the Classic include the July 29 Haskell Invitational, the Aug. 4 Whitney Stakes and the Aug. 18 Pacific Classic. The last two races offering an automatic berth into the Classic are the Pacific Classic and the Jockey Club Gold Cup, both run Sept. 29

The Wynn offers odds on 63 horses age 3 and up for wagering. The full list of prices can be seen below. Click in the bottom right corner for full screen viewing.
