201 horses from around the world were pre-entered for the 2020 Breeders' Cup on Wednesday morning at Keeneland Race Course. Below is a closer look at the fields for each race with 1st and 2nd preferences listed.

Classic
There were no major surprises in the marquee event, the $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic. Eleven runners were pre-entered led by Improbable, Maximum Security and Tiz the Law. Swiss Skydiver was pre-entered in the Classic as expected, but her first preference is the Distaff.

Turf

The Turf will be even more international than usual. Top European Magical was only pre-entered for the Turf, bypassing the Filly & Mare Turf, while Tarnawa was given first preference to the Turf over the Filly & Mare Turf.

Both of the star European ladies will be joined by Donjah, Lord North and Mogul. Channel Maker, United and Arklow lead an American cast that is missing Zulu Alpha.

Distaff

Swiss Skydiver was given first preference in this spot, setting up a potentially fantastic match-up between the Preakness winner and Monomoy Girl. Eleven horses pre-entered, with ten likely to run in this race.

Mile

The Mile looks wide open and drew an oversubscribed field of runners from all around the world led by Siskin, Raging Bull, Uni and Kameko.

Sprint

The Sprint has eight horses in the main body of the field who are pre-entered in other races, but all eight have first preference in the Sprint. With three also eligibles, a full field is expected led by Vekoma, Yaupon, C Z Rocket, Diamond Oops and rising star Nashville.

Filly & Mare Turf

The Filly & Mare Turf lost some luster with Magical committed to the Turf and Tarnawa leaning in that direction as well, but it is still a fantastic race. Rushing Fall leads the expected field against Cayenne Pepper, Audarya, Mean Mary and Sistercharlie.

Juvenile

It was surprising that the Juvenile drew a full field of 14 with the presence of Jackie's Warrior, but this race continues to get more interesting by the day. Impressive maiden winners Classier and Likeable add to the depth of this bunch.
