The National Weather Service predicts a high near 78 on Saturday, with partly sunny skies, and a northeast wind between six and eight miles per hour.
Belmont's stakes-laden weekend of races began Thursday and continues through Friday. Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 81 and a west wind between 11 and 16 miles per hour.
