Duntle crossed the wire in 1st place a shoulder ahead of Chachamaidee. But a stewards inquiry determined that jockey Wayne Lordan caused sufficient enough interference aboard Duntle to have kept Tom Queally and Chachamaidee from winning the race. Duntle was taken down as the winner and placed 2nd. Chachamaidee promoted from 2nd place to 1st place.
